Doulton SS-4

Doulton British Berkefeld SS-4 water filter Made from high grade polished stainless steel. The SS-4 is the same as the Big Berkey except it uses 4 - 7" filters insteed of 4- 9" filters.
The SS-4 Gravity Filter is a portable, robust model, which is easy to keep hygienically clean. The SS-4 is very popular with aid organizations and private customers alike.

GRAVITY FILTERS
For customers who do not have a reliable pressurized mains water supply, whether it is at home, on a campsite, or in a holiday cottage, a gravity filter enables you to have clean filtered drinking water on tap. Water is poured manually into the upper chamber. It passes through the filter candles under pressure of gravity into the lower chamber where the filtered water can be removed via a tap on the front of the filter.

Water Filter system is designed for use in situations where a reliable
supply of treated drinking water is unavailable. Unbelievable as it sounds you can actually pour creek water in this filter and a short time later have clean, good tasting water. How?

The pore structure of the ceramic filters inside is designed to
remove very fine particles and bacteria. Can be used camping, around the house or where there is no municipally treated water.
The gravity feed system also works when water pressure is too low for other filters.

The “Super Sterasyl” filters used in both systems, reduce up to 99.99%
of particulates, cysts, parasites and pathogenic bacteria including but not limited to E. Coli, Cryptosporidium, Giardia and Salmonella Typhi.
Additionally, these filters will reduce chlorine, rust, sediment and
organic chemicals. With nominal particulate filtration rating efficiencies of
